Last Updated: April 30th, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of veteranslegacycollective.org and any services, programs, content, or communications offered by Veterans Legacy Collective ("VLC," "we," "our," or "us"). By using the Site or engaging with our programs, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
Who We Are
Veterans Legacy Collective is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization (EIN 41-4122452) registered in Texas under foreign nonprofit registration number 806551841. Our mission is to support veterans and their families through educational, charitable, and connective programs that promote stability, opportunity, and long-term well-being.
Nature of Our Services
Educational and connective in nature. All programs and resources offered through Veterans Legacy Collective are educational, informational, and connective in nature. We help veterans understand opportunities, navigate systems, and connect with qualified professionals, mentors, and partners.
What we are not. Veterans Legacy Collective does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, investment, medical, or psychological advice. We do not act as a broker, dealer, lender, investment advisor, real estate brokerage, employment or staffing agency, or insurance provider. We do not represent veterans before the Department of Veterans Affairs and do not prepare, present, or prosecute claims for VA benefits. Veterans seeking formal claims assistance are referred to VA-accredited attorneys, claims agents, or recognized Veterans Service Organizations.
No professional relationship. Use of the Site or participation in our programs does not create an attorney-client, fiduciary, advisor-client, or other professional relationship between you and Veterans Legacy Collective. For decisions involving legal, tax, financial, medical, or other professional matters, you should consult a qualified, licensed professional.
Eligibility
The Site and our programs are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. Individuals under 18 may participate only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or have appropriate parental or guardian consent.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Site and our services lawfully, respectfully, and consistent with our mission. You agree not to use the Site to engage in fraud, misrepresentation, or unlawful activity; harass, threaten, or harm any individual, including staff, volunteers, or other participants; impersonate any person or organization; upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems; scrape, harvest, or collect information about other users; interfere with the operation of the Site or our services; or use the Site or our services in any way that violates these Terms or applicable law.
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate access to the Site or our services for any individual whose conduct we determine, in our sole discretion, is inconsistent with these Terms or our mission.
Network Referrals
Veterans Legacy Collective maintains a network of mentors, professionals, advisors, and partners who serve veterans across various fields, including real estate, business, employment, education, and finance. When we refer or introduce you to a network partner, we do so as a connection only. We do not employ, supervise, or guarantee the services, advice, or conduct of any network partner. Any agreement, transaction, or relationship you enter with a network partner is solely between you and that partner. You are responsible for evaluating the qualifications, services, and suitability of any partner and for any decisions you make based on those interactions.
Donations
Donations to Veterans Legacy Collective are charitable gifts, not purchases. Donors do not receive goods or services in exchange for contributions, except where explicitly noted (for example, event registration that includes a meal or item, in which case the deductible portion will be disclosed). Donations are governed by our Donor Privacy Policy and applicable IRS rules. Tax-deductibility is subject to law and the donor's individual tax situation. We encourage donors to consult a qualified tax advisor.
